View moreX-Knights Costa Rica 2025 once again delivered a night full of adrenaline and excitement at the National Stadium, with several of the world's best Freestyle Motocross riders competing in front of more than 29,000 spectators.
Spanish rider José "Mincha" Canosa claimed victory after an impressive performance, securing the win in a high-level final. From the very start of the event, Mincha became the crowd favorite, receiving ovations during each of his performances. German rider Luc Ackermann and Japanese rider Taka Higashino completed the podium, delivering an unforgettable show for the fans.
Meanwhile, multi-time champion Maikel Melero suffered a hard landing during practice, which caused back pain and prevented him from qualifying for the grand final.
Once again, the event proved why it is considered one of the most prestigious Freestyle Motocross competitions in the world. The flawless organization by RPMTV and Fly Actions was key to the event's success, ensuring a top-tier circuit that challenged the riders and provided an outstanding spectacle for the fans.

View moreOn Saturday, January 4, the Illumbe bullring in San Sebastián became the scene of an unforgettable night on the occasion of the X-Gravity Freestyle Rural Kutxa. More than 7,000 spectators vibrated with a unique spectacle of extreme sports, where the best international riders offered a display of talent, adrenaline and emotion.
Maikel Melero and Alex Gonga, the great winners of the night
In an evening full of impressive moments, national rider Maikel Melero took victory in the Freestyle Motocross (FMX) category after an epic battle against renowned figures such as Luc Ackermann, David Rinaldo, Mincha, the legendary Dany Torres, and the charismatic Edgar Torronteras. Each of them dazzled the audience with spectacular executions of tricks such as tsunami front flips, 360º nac and double backflips, taking the excitement to its highest point.
On the other hand, in the Megaramp competition, local talent Alex Gonga shone in the scooter discipline, conquering the public with his bold style and impeccable technique, taking a well-deserved victory.
A tribute to women motocross riders
The night also included a special moment with a tribute to the women motocross riders who compete in the Spanish Championship. These athletes made an outstanding entrance on the track, receiving applause from the public for their talent and effort in such a challenging sport.

X-TRIAL PAMPLONA 2024, SOLD OUT! A SUCCESS!
View moreBou wins in Pamplona and Busto takes the world subtitle
Toni Bou gives his rivals no chance at the Navarra Arena while the fight for the runner-up spot goes to Jaime Busto.
The second visit of the FIM X-Trial World Championship to the Navarra Arena in Pamplona has ended with the victory of 18-time X-Trial World Champion Toni Bou (Repsol Honda Trial Team) who, in this way, has made up for the result in Tallinn, where he finished outside the Top3. In addition, with this victory he has added the 100th podium of his indoor career, a real milestone.
Bou faced Jaime Busto (GasGas) and Benoit Bincaz (Sherco) in the final after having been the best in the first two rounds and from the second section onwards, he started to distance himself from his rivals.
For his part, Busto knew he was runner-up in the World Championship from the end of the first round due to the mistakes made by Gabriel Marcelli (Repsol Honda Trial Team), who finished sixth in the first section and lost any chance of challenging him for second place in the Championship. In turn, the GasGas rider saw his chances of finishing second in front of the Navarrese fans vanish when, in the fourth section, he was charged with a five while Bincaz scored a two that put him in a position to obtain the best result of his career and add his second consecutive podium after the third place obtained in Tallinn.
Miquel Gelabert (Vertigo), who had been third at the end of the first round, missed out on the final by just one point, ahead of Adam Raga (Sherco) who was fifth in the first round and fourth in the second. Behind them both was Gabriel Marcelli who, for the first time in the season that ended today, missed out on the podium.
Toby Martyn (Montesa) was not very successful in the race in which he put an end to his career, finishing seventh and Sondre Haga (GasGas) closed the classification of this last round of the year 2024 at the controls of his electric TXE GP.
Toni Bou (1st): ‘I came to this race with the clear determination to get back to winning ways after the mistake in Tallinn and that's how it happened, and in a very clear way. I rode at a high level from the start and, had it not been for the mistake in the first section of the final, I would have been even more convincing. It's a great way to end a season that has once again been very positive and it was also my 100th podium, which, considering that there are not many races per season, is even more important’.
Benoit Bincaz (2nd): ‘This result is fantastic. It's the first time I've finished second in a World Championship race and it's my second podium in a row. I think that after the problems I had with my back injury a while ago, I can say that I'm back’.
Jaime Busto (3rd): ‘The truth is that today I didn't have my day and I didn't feel comfortable from the beginning. The mistake I made in the fourth section of the final made the difference and relegated me to third place. Despite this, I still finished runner-up in a season in which I have been very consistent and only missed the podium on one occasion’.

LURAUTO & CO X GRAVITY FREESTYLE DONOSTIA/SAN SEBASTIÁN
View more
A magical night in Donostia with X-Gravity Freestyle Lurauto & CO
The Illumbe bullring, packed with more than 8000 spectators, has lived a night to remember with the show offered by the freestyle motocross riders together with BMX, MTB, roller, scooter and skateboarding riders.
The bullring of Illumbe, in San Sebastian, hung the 'no tickets' sign hours before the start of the show and the stands, full of spectators, roared. The atmosphere, with many families eager to enjoy themselves, was incredible. It had been many years since Illumbe had been full for a sporting event.
The freestyle motocross competition featured two different events. In the first one, the Best Whip, the riders showed their best tricks on their bikes in front of an enthusiastic audience. Edgar Torronteras, one of the public's favourites, was also the most valued by the judges and was able to take the first trophy of the night.
The second and most spectacular competition of the night was the 'Best Trick', where riders had two attempts to perform their most daring tricks. Frenchman David Rinaldo, champion of this same competition at the American X-Games, showed why he was worthy of the gold medal in the United States, performing a spectacular Front-Flip Tsunami and a Rock Solid Flip, positioning himself as the favourite to win. But the victory was not decided until the last jump of the night, when Maikel Melero from Albacete performed an impressive 'Double Backflip', one of the most daring tricks in the discipline, performed by only a few pilots in the world, to the amazement of all the spectators. In this competition it was the public itself who chose the winner and Illumbe did not hesitate and surrendered to the feet of Melero with his spectacular trick.
The show did not only come from the riders with their bikes. There were also great jumps and tricks by specialists on wheels but without engines. In the 'Best trick' competition at the Megaramp, the nine BMX, MTB, roller, scooter and skateboard riders showed their best skills. The very young Álex Gonga, from Errenteria and runner-up in the junior world championships, took the victory with his scooter in a disputed final for which the MTB rider Martxel Arribillaga (from Bera) and the Huesca rider Diego Solans in BMX also qualified.
WINNERS:
Best trick or biggest trick (motor): Maikel Melero with a deadly double.
Best Whip or biggest fold (motor): Edgar Torronteras.
Best trick or biggest trick for BMX, MTB, roller, scooter and skate: Álex Gonga.
Tribute to Mikel Huarte
During the event, the organisers wanted to pay tribute to Mikel Huarte, from Errenteria, for his great career as a motorbike and later car racer and his riding school, which many famous riders have passed through. Huarte, a great motor racing enthusiast, was also involved in the organisation of important sporting events such as the famous and historic motocross races in La Concha, the Hondarribia Motoshow, the Donostia SuperCross, or the Red Bull X-Fighters in Las Ventas and Mexico, among many others. Thanks for your work, Mikel.
The X-Gravity Freestyle Lurauto & Co. was a resounding success and we hope to see sporting events of this level and originality in Donostia again. A special thank you to the public, who were so enthusiastic with the riders and the show.

24h of Catalunya
View moreTeam Bimtrazer Fly gets P3 in O-SBK category
P5 overall in the 24h of Catalunya
Last weekend the 24h of Catalunya was held at the Circuit de Móntmelo Barcelona, where the Bimtrazer Fly team was able to climb to third place in its category after an intense and exciting race that was not without difficulties. The Bimtrazer Fly team went to the big event as defending champions after their victory in their category in 2022 and their fourth place overall, so the pressure to defend the title was palpable in each member of the team.
In a good start and a good race rhythm by its 4 riders in command of their Yamaha R1 after getting sixth place on the starting grid, the team was placed in the first 4 hours in the first place in O-SBK and second overall. With near-perfect pit stops and fast, steady paces from Oscar San Emeterio, Joan Zamorano, Alex Zuzaya and Iker Carracedo, the team held the lead for 16 hours in an incredible battle with the French MPS NrBike team.
But with 4 hours left to finish the test, the breakage of the lower support of the oil cooler forced the team to go into the pits to change it. The chances of victory vanished in just a few minutes, but there were even fears of withdrawal. Fortunately, thanks to the good work of the mechanics, the Yamaha R1 was able to resume track 27 minutes later. Although it was already too late to catch up with the French team and even the second-placed PMS99 team, the Bimtrazer Fly team was able to achieve third place in the O-SBK and fifth overall.
In addition, the last relay with an entry into the finish line, served for Joan Zamorano and the team to pay a small tribute to Enric Sauri, who died in the race in the 2017 edition
With a bittersweet taste after seeing victory so close, leading the race for practically the first 20 hours, this result continues to be very positive for this young team that continues to gain experience race after race, adding another podium to the list of winners.
Thanks to all the staff, drivers and sponsors for making this possible.
